More than 600 people, including subcontractors, are currently working on the various areas of the project. Design work, geotechnical investigations and the construction of access roads for geotechnical investigations on the project are progressing.
The expropriation process by the employer is ongoing, and construction is now starting in the areas where the land has been handed over.
In Section 1, construction of overpass piles has begun. Additionally, earthworks for camp construction, building foundations, and building assembly are underway.
In Section 2, excavation, drilling, blasting, and material hauling to Section 1, along with earthworks for structures, are currently in progress.
In Section 4, drilling and blasting operations are ongoing.
HSE and quality trainings are provided by ENKA – Bechtel partnership to all personnel working on the project according to project requirements.
As of the end of April 2024, the highest number of 419 days and 763 thousand person-hours without a lost time incident were reached on the project.
